What is the Student Senate

The MUM Student Senate consists of:

    -Global Student Council (GSC)
    -Dormitory Resident Advisors
    -Any student who is interested in taking an active role in the
    decision-making process behind the scenes at MUM

If you're interested, please attend a meeting! We meet every Friday (except during block break) in the Dreier building at 3:15.

What do we do in senate?

• We decide if and how our budget will be allocated towards things like:
  • Clubs (supplies, trips, etc.)
  • Dorm accessories (satellite TV, Ghandharva Veda boxes)
  • Special projects (vermicomposting, tree planting)
  • Student events such as the Ecofair

• We also have the power to set Student Government procedural rules and amend the Global Student Council Charter.
