Change is in the air. It’s a new year (wait a minute…who ran off with 2008?), our new president is about to take office, and most importantly to all of the students we have a new RC grading policy that will take effect in the spring semester.
MEDITATORS
-- We have added another meditation hall, so now students can meditate by affinity group.
-- We have moved the earliest meditation program even earlier, so students can start right after class and make efficient use of their time afterward.
EVERYONE
-- We have simplified the grading system: the grades are now Honors, Pass, and No Pass
-- In response to students' requests, we will have an opportunity to reflect on and discuss experiences in each block.
GSC will be starting the New Year by creating a vision and plan for all the projects, goals and events we want to make happen in the second semester. If you have any ideas or suggestions or dreams, please let me know as soon as possible. That’s why we are here—to make your dreams come true. By the way, that is our temporary joke-theme for the year—GSC: Making dreams come true.
